Thirty years in the field before day one.
Rafael Perez founded New York Geomatics in 2009. He had spent more than 30 years working for heavy construction firms across the New York City metropolitan area and saw an opening to put that experience to work for the heavy civil and industrial construction market directly.
The firm specializes in construction and engineering layout, as built surveys, and monitoring of bridges, tunnels, buildings, tracks, and heavy infrastructure. Civil and marine surveying, railroad and track alignment, and MTA Capital Construction work round out the practice.
